just so there's no bewildered browsing when you see .+.unstrung.+. updated, i've decided to create a page that will tell you EXACTLY what's been done & when.

bear in mind that most 'updates' are actually just updates of the fanlisting.

//1 january 2008 - well, the time has come for me to suspend updates on "unstrung". a bot got into the member list and messed the whole thing up. i just don't have the time to straighten it out right now, so i guess that's that. i will keep these pages alive so that people can still read the articles and see the pictures. maybe one day, when i have the time and inclination, i will start it back up again. in the meantime, please go and see "mad money" when it comes out on 18 january!! thanks for all the fun over the years, and best wishes for a wonderful 2008!

//2 may 2007 - added 6 new members. YES i was at the lincoln center tribute. it was too amazing for words. i left a little commentary (with some pictures) on the diane keaton international forum, in THIS thread.

//3 march 2007 - added 10 new members. i've seen "because i've said so", as i'm sure all of you have as well. hope you caught diane (with jack) at the oscars, because i fell asleep. a fate worst than death! :( but to make up for that sad occurence, i am going to be attending the lincoln center ceremony on 9 april. (see 6 novemember prophecy about being arrested. . .) i'm pretty sure they won't allow cameras (not that i have a scanner to scan pictures with anyway), but i will make detailed mental notes and perhaps write up a little article on the event. very very very excited for this!

// 1 january 2007 - added 3 new members. here's my scanner situation: it now works, but the software refuses to recognize that the device is connected to my computer. right now i can only use the built in windows program, which has no options to descreen printwork. everytime i scan something, i get those annoying wavey lines. i'm actually sitting here with the stupid thing next to me on the floor. i swear. i tried. i tried so hard!! if anyone knows of some freeware i can DL that will work with my ancient HP scanjet, please let me know. otherwise i guess i'm off to CNET to research new scanners. topic change. are YOU excited for "because i said so"? because i sure am. feb. 2, let's all mark our calendars (if you live in the states, that is). also, i have to repeat this because it apparently cannot be repeated enough: i'm not diane! she is in no way personally affiliated with this site. i would feel bad if you thought that by emailing me or posting a message on the guestbook, that you were contacting her and that she was not contacting you back. it's actually only me, nadia, who is not contacting you back. and that's mostly because my life is crazy and i have no time. not because i don't love you.

// 6 november 2006 - added 3 new members. my scanner is not working properly right now, so no l'oreal ads for you. in other news, you can see the because i said so trailer here. i was pleasantly surprised by it; i was having doubts due to mandy moore's involvement in the project. sorry, but i'm just not a fan of hers. super excited about diane working with lauren graham tho! anyway, mark your calenders for 9 april because that's when diane is being honored at lincoln center by their film society. i will be that crazy person outside lincoln center, getting arrested by the police for screaming "i love you diane" as she walks inside.

// 13 september 2006 - added 8 new members. hope you've all seen the l'oreal ads by now. every time i'm visiting my family, someone screams "diane!" and i come running to see the commercial. she looks amazing and her dialogue about being "worth it" comes off as very human, and very real as opposed to some marketing pitch. but i expected no less from the gloved one!

// 27 july 2006 - added 6 new members, we've now broken the 200 mark. fabulous! one more month and ads for diane's l'oreal campaign will start appearing. can't wait to see her gorgeous face all over the place!

// 05 june 2006 - added 14 new members! that's a lot guys! so, in case some of you haven't heard, diane has been chosen as a new l'oreal paris spokesperson. how excited! her ads will mostly likely start to appear at the end of summer.

// 04 april 2006 - added 4 new members. i've been getting spammed like you wouldn't believe lately, so if you emailed me something important and i never responded, it's probably because your message fell victim to my many inbox purges! also, it seems no matter how many times i say this, it apparently bears repeating: I DO NOT KNOW DIANE KEATON. i cannot get you in touch with her. not to be rude, because i am a nice person (mostly. . .), but please stop asking me to hook you up on lunch dates with the lady. i'm sure she's very busy and doesn't have time to eat anyway.

// 17 february 2006 - added 3 new members. we're almost at the 200 mark; incredible! to reiterate something i know i said in the FAQs: i am not diane keaton. i do not know diane keaton. i am in no way affiliated with diane keaton. (of course i wish i was and that i did) so if you email me messages meant for DK, i have no way of getting them to her. sorry guys!

// 13 january 2006 - happy new year everyone! i'm sure some of you noticed that my site was down for a little while. i apologize, however someone hacked into it via my fanbase script. i guess that's what i get for not keeping up with security patches, but still, how boring must your life be? i suggest a job. or volunteer work. anyway, i added 6 new members. hope you all enjoyed the family stone, diane's 60 birthday, AND surrender dorothy. i know that i did. :)

// 29 november 2005 - ok. let's try not to get excited, but i have some news. I WILL BE GETTING A NEW COMPUTER WITHIN THE COMING MONTH!! woohoo! alright, and now for the REAL news. . .8 new members! bring it on! just a few more weeks and the family stone is released in the US. i have a paper chain in my apartment, counting down the days. :) also, i've learned that diane is attached to two new projects, one is because i said so with mandy moore and the other is mama's boy with john heder. she's a busy lady. and that's lucky for us!

// 19 october 2005 - added 1 new member, updated a few memberships. ok, i know this isn't going to be welcome news, but someone has to break it to you: the family stone's release date has been pushed back to 16 december in the US. just keep telling yourself "good things come to those who wait," and i'm sure we'll get through this just fine!

// 10 october 2005 - added 7 new members again. 7 must be a special number; we've had it two months in a row. anyhoo, not much going on here. . .my computer and i are in a fight, but that's not the kind of update you want from me, right? right. ok, so diane will be receiving the "hollywood career achievement award" on 24 october at the hollywood film festival. the ceremony will be held at the beverly hilton hotel. congratulations diane!

// 9 september 2005 - added 7 new members! still hearing LOTS of excellent stuff about the family stone. remember guys, it comes out 4 november in the US, so make sure to mark your calenders. we want it to have a strong opening weekend! no comment about the keanu gossip. if diane doesn't have a comment, then nadia doesn't have a comment. ca va? hope everyone is doing well. p.s. .+.unstrung.+. turns two this month. time flies when you're having fun!

// 2 august 2005 - added 2 new members. added a link in the .+.links.+. section to diane's post on arianna huffington's blog. i don't think davinci's mother is being released in september anymore. in fact, i don't think it's even being released in 2005. lot's of conflicting info. . .but the good news is that oscar buzz is being bounced around about our girl's performance in the family stone. so yay for that! keep cool and stay well everyone!

//23 june 2005 - added 4 new members and a link to a new affiliate, the shelley duvall fanlisting offbeat angel.  you can check that out in the link section.

//6 june 2005- save the date kids! davinci's mother will be released in the US on 10 september, and the family stone is set to come out on 4 november.  no word on international dates yet (sorry!), and no word on mad money (but i'm keeping my eyes peeled).  autumn is going to be a wonderful season for diane fans!

//4 may 2005 - added 9 new members. apologies for my lack of updates. i've been very busy. i meant to remind everyone that diane was on the cover of last month's architectural digest, but i'm an idiot and forgot. anyway, i have the issue so hopefully i can scrape together some time to post it for everyone later on.

//27 march 2005 - added 4 new members. just so everyone knows hating her has been renamed as the family stone if you want to see the cast list, it's up at IMDB.com. since this looks like a "holiday" film, i would suspect it to be released sometime around nov./dec. for those of you who can't wait to see diane in something new, it looks like surrender dorothy is in post-production and won't be too long in being released. three cheers!

//11 march 2005 - added 2 new members. realized that the URL to the updates page was linking to the old site, so no one probably saw my last update. i am an idiot. forgive me. i suspect there are a bunch of broken links lurking around. . .so if you come across one, would you be so kind as to email me? thanks guys!

oh, i also anchored the frame to the middle of the page. . .so all resolutions should be able to use the site now without a problem. of course, it still looks best in 1024×765 (and higher), but it will function properly and not break apart if you're view it in something else.

//3 march 2005 - well i've finally moved to my own domain.  sure, it took me about 8 months, but what can you expect? my last name is procrastination.  anyhoo. . .i made the unpleasant discovery that the lame form i was using on the old site wasn't submitting info for about a month.  (it was the first month i never received an application. . .you'd think i'd be a little faster on the uptake, but noooo)  so if you applied but never heard back from me, please do so again!!  also, i tried to transfer the old member list into this new automated one, but somehow a few people got left out.  there's about a 10-15 member discrepancy from my old count.  if you go through the list (which is now organized by country) and DON'T see yourself listed, please a.) forgive me and b.) email me.

//23 january 2005 - happy new year diane-a-holics! added 5 new members this time around.  did anyone catch our girl on the golden globes?  she was clearly the most entertaining part of the evening. no other presenter was *THAT* enthusiastic!! plus she looked fantastic! critics be damned, she was fabulous in her little equestrian blazer and chiffon skirt.  personally i really liked the safety pin she had on her collar, but where were the gloves? diane!!  we live for the gloves!!

//1 november 2004 - added 3 new members.  updated diane's bio to include LOTS of new tv/movie news.  never a dull moment for our girl!  i have the feeling that 2005 is going to be AMAZING for her. . .one of the projects she's working on  (da vinci's mother) sounds like it could possibly land her another oscar nomination.  i might be jumping the gun, but hey, if it happens remember you heard it from *me* first!!

//4 october 2004 - added 11 new members.  long time no update, right?  sorry guys, i'm a busy girl!  but no matter how busy i get, i still love diane.  a few people have sent me personal emails.  i HAVE gotten them and i WILL respond. . .just as soon as i have my feet on the ground for more than 5 minutes.  everybody smile! :)

//4 september 2004 - added 5 new members.  wow, there are some people out there who love 'mrs. soffel' as much as i do!  it's such a fantastic film, everyone should watch it.  if any reads this and decides to see it, email me and let me know what you think!

//17 august 2004 - added 7 new members.  now we're over a hundred fans strong!  i just want to take a moment and thank everyone who writes such nice things about my site on their membership forms.  i don't get a chance to respond to everyone, but i do read all of the comments and they are MUCHLY appreciated.  :)

//25 july 2004 - added 4 new members.  so there's good news and bad news.  the bad news is that within the next month, .+.unstrung.+. will be going off line for a bit.  the good news is that this is because i'm getting my own domain.  :)  my AOL membership is going to be cancelled, so i'm now forced to finally get my own dot com.  as this all gets under way, i will post more updates and email everyone regarding the new URL.

//10 july 2004 - added 5 new members.  i will definitely be switching over to something automated at this rate.  possibly this will occur before we reach the 100 mark?  who can foretell the mysterious and lacidaisical ways of one, nadia, webmistress to diane-fandom.  no, but in all seriousness, i thought i'd have loads of time once i got back from vacation to work on the site.  but instead i'm just working at work a lot.  go figure.  

//21 june 2004 - if you've sent me any information change over the past two weeks, i've updated your fan entry.  we've got a lot of fans now! the list is getting a bit hard to read, i realize.  so sometime over the summer i'm definitely going to switch over to an automated service that will sort everyone into neat, easy to read, categories.
